Enjoy Haut-Richelieu

Mostly known for its hot air balloon festival, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is the place to be during a hot summer day, the river will provide fresh air and give you summer vibes. With its charming local shops and restaurants, the old Saint-Jean district is a must. The architecture will make you feel like you are in an Instagram feed. You can also walk along the Richelieu River or catch the beginner-friendly cycling route on the other side (Iberville) called La Montérégiade, which offers an authentic view on the countryside. The Richelieu River is a paradise where you can relax by the river or discover water sports. For a perfect family day, the mont Saint-Grégoire is full of fun activities. For the little ones, Uplå by Arbraska is ideal to burn their energy! It’s a trampoline path between trees that is kid-approved! If you are in for an adventure, there is also Arbraska with their ziplines! Next door, CIME Haut-Richelieu awaits hikers of all levels. Lake Champlain is THE place that will make you feel like you are on vacation. To admire the lake, the waterfront terrace of the restaurant La Tropézienne is a nice spot for a brunch and turns into a festive place in the evening. For a taste of local products, the outdoor market is open mostly on the weekends from June to October.
